Many folks had expected a demo of Resident Evil Remake to arrive alongside Resident Evil 7, based on the assumption formed from the black screen that was seen in the first demo.

Unfortunately, Resident Evil 7 arrived on the market with zero signs of the Resident Evil 2 Remake demo. But, this is understandable as Capcom may have wanted Resident Evil 7 to have the spotlight to itself, without much distraction.

However, we have yet to hear anything on the upcoming game to date. All we know is that the developers wanted to remake the game by building it from scratch once again. But, there is still no indication of what those changes may include.

Some fans are crossing their fingers in the hopes that the developer wouldn’t alter the camera angle of the game while some others are actually in favor of it as they hold the impression that it will make the game more exciting.

The opinions are split right down the middle right now; so, which side are you rooting for?

All I want is for Capcom to do exactly to Resident Evil 2 with REmake 2 as what they did to Resident Evil 1 with REmake

And what I mean by that is, make REmake 2 play and feel like a true sequel to REmake, rather than making it play and feel like a true sequel to Resident Evil 1, or something new and different entirely

I 100% agree im a true Resident Evil ( the game series) fan and a true remake remaster would be a sequel to the the remake not the original even though resident evil 2 the original game was my favorite from the series its been 20 yeaars and Im looking for a feel of the original gameplay but with a whole new experience including new puzzles and weapons now in my personal opinion the remake of the original RE was on point and the remastering of it was like a dream come true but if you intend on remaking the sequel then a true sequel would be to the remake and not to the original but still true to the original sequel in the same sense as the remake of the original… Aslso for the love of god keep it 3rd person!

It must fixed Camaras, its a remake not reboot, only people that never played the originals might want over the shoulder wich would not make a resident evil 2.

Fixed camera angles, or over shoulder not first person. Bring back Crimson Head Zombies and fuel for burning corpses. Expand upon the original by more deeply involving characters like Chief Irons. I don’t want to give up spoilers, so I’ll just say it could be very disturbing. Just don’t make it a first person farce.

I understand its being built from the ground up but make it a true remake and not basically a remaster continue the storyline from the Resident EVil Remake and not the original keep defensive weapons and Crimson Zombies add new puzzles, weapons, characters, and enemies but nothing to extreme that would take away from the familiar experience and do this with both character’s storyline other than that keep most things the same and the most important thing that pretty much could make or break the entire project is the camera angles KEEP IT 3rd person!!! For us die hard resident evil gamers who have been waiting for and wanting this for almost 20 years please don’t ruin the familiar experience for us! I understand that modern day gamers prefer 1st person but doesn’t work with every game and if the plan is to please everyone then allow the option to switch camera angles in the game’s settings menu
