Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Will Carry On Despite Note 7 Debacle

Samsung hasn’t revealed anything on the Galaxy Note 8 but that hasn’t affected fans’ excitement over the arrival of the latest phablet.

When Samsung announced that it was making the Galaxy Note 8, it received quite some backlash following the whole Galaxy Note 7 explosive incident.

However, mobile chief D.J. Koh revealed in an interview that the company will carry on with the production of the latest version of the Note series.

He added that this was necessary as they owe it to the many fans who have remained loyal to them throughout this Note 7 nightmare. Koh even gave his word that they have resolved the battery problems.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to be featuring an iris and fingerprint scanner. Aside that, it is also said to be coming with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, compass, barometer, heart rate and SpO2.

Similar to the infamous Note 7, this device will be coming with a stylus and its size is reported to be about 5.7-inches with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The latest Note is rumored to be sporting a 12MP rear-facing camera along with an 8MP selfie snapper. There are also some who have been hinting that the Galaxy Note 8 may be featuring a digital assistant.
