The highly anticipated Android 7.0 Nougat update has started rolling out to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge device and the Seoul-based manufacturer has revealed that its 2015 devices will begin seeing the update soon.
According to a tweet from Samsung Turkey’s Tansu Yegen, the Galaxy S6, Galaxy S6 Edge and the Galaxy Note 5 will receive their invitation to Nougat sometime in the third week of February. The Galaxy S6 Edge+, on the other hand, will be seeing the update during the last week of the month.

This tweet indicates the rollout in Turkey but it’s highly likely that the update will arrive to US devices about the same time or slightly after.
If the Nougat update reaches all of Samsung’s recent flagship devices on time, this would mean that they will all be up to speed prior to the arrival of the Galaxy S8.
