It wasn’t too long ago that we heard of the news that Samsung was going to roll out the Android 7 Nougat update to its Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge devices by the end of February. We’re currently in the first week of March and yet, still zero signs of the update on the Galaxy S6 duo.
Samsung UK revealed via Twitter that the update for both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge “has been delayed” as the Seoul-based company needs to “review its quality.”
This indicates that something isn’t quite right with Android Nougat on the Galaxy S6 duo at the moment. However, Samsung is “unable to confirm” when exactly will the update be available.
Judging from the fact that the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are two years old now, it looks like the Android Nougat is most likely their last major update. Well, at least they’ll still be receiving security updates for some time more.
