When Nougat was initially announced to be delayed for the Galaxy S6, users believed that they would have to wait a long time before the update resumes. But, that turned out to be a short-lived scare, as Nougat has begun to roll out again just days after the delay announcement.

This is good news as the Galaxy S6 is about two years old now, which is pretty old when it comes to updates. Aside that, Samsung is also usually very slow to roll out major Android updates.

Thankfully for some users, specifically Galaxy S6 Edge users from Vodafone in Germany, the update has started arriving under the firmware G925FXXU5EQBG. There were also some users in Switzerland that has reported to have seen the update.

A report by SlashGear reveals that a Galaxy S6 user have received the update as well. This update is currently hitting SM-G925F models, the international versions of the device.
