The Galaxy S8 and S8+ are Samsung’s latest flagship duo and the Seoul-based manufacturer seems to have left no stone unturned when it came to this stunning pair.

The duo will be available in an array of colors which includes Midnight Black, Orchid Gray and Maple Gold. The Galaxy S8 measures at 5.8-inches with a Quad HD+ Super AMOLED 2960 x 1440 resolution display.

The Galaxy S8+, on the other hand, sits a level above the Galaxy S8 with its 6.2-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED 2960 X 1440 resolution display.

Although not a huge difference, the latest flagship pair does surpass their predecessors as the Galaxy S7 measured at 5.1-inches while the Edge variant measured at 5.5-inches.

However, it looks like most folks are finding the Galaxy S8 to be too small to hold. Many felt that pictures didn’t paint the whole story as the device felt significantly smaller when held.

These folks prefer the Galaxy S8+ over the Galaxy S8 as the former sports a better form factor, as stated in Android Central forum threads.

Good Things Come In Small Packages

That said, it’s important to note that the width of the Galaxy S8 screen is the same as a 5.3-inch device if it were 16:9. This is the reason why it feels small; it is the diagonal size that tricks the mind.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S8+ is the same width as a 5.6-inch device with 16:9 screen, which brings it closer to the size of the Galaxy S7 Edge.
