Samsung Galaxy S8 vs LG G6: One Clear Advantage

Samsung’s all-new flagship devices are finally out but it appears that many are still on the fence between purchasing the Galaxy S8 device or LG’s latest G6.

Just look through the various forum threads over on Android Central and you’ll bound to come across many that are currently pitting Samsung’s latest against the LG G6.

Although both these devices share a couple of similarities, there are obvious differences between them. The Galaxy S8 sports a 5.8-inch size while the Galaxy S8+ is bigger at 6.2-inches.

Both the Samsung devices are equipped with Quad HD+ Super AMOLED displays with 2960 x 1440 pixel resolution. These are bezel-less, full-frontal, edge-to-edge devices featuring an 8MP selfie-snapper and a dual 12MP rear-facing camera.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 duo is powered by the Octa-core processors and mated to a 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage. The Galaxy S8 is fitted with a 3,000mAh battery while the larger device gets a 3,500mAh unit.

LG Climbing Its Way To The Top

The LG G6, on the other hand, measures at 5.7-inches with an IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen that has a 1440 x 2880 pixel resolution.

The LG device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 821 and fitted with a 3,300mAh battery. The device sports a 5MP selfie-snapper along with a dual set of 13MP rear-facing cameras.

These aren’t exactly drastic differences with the Samsung Galaxy S8 duo but there is one thing that the LG lacks which gives the Samsung device a worthy edge.

What’s The Big Difference

Samsung Galaxy S8’s biggest advantage is the fact that the duo comes with Bluetooth 5. This allows the devices to connect via Bluetooth to two other devices at the same time.

Well, this basically means Galaxy S8 users will be able to play their favorite tracks through multiple Bluetooth speakers while LG G6 users will have to settle for one other device only.

So, we want to know this; Do you think this particular feature is appealing enough for you to nab the Galaxy S8 devices?
