Samsung Galaxy S9 Won’t Make It Before Apple

Samsung and Apple have always been trying to one-up each other. Earlier rumor suggests that Samsung might beat Apple to the In-display fingerprint sensor feature when they release the Samsung Galaxy S9 but new reports are saying that it won’t happen.

According to the latest report, the Samsung Galaxy S9 will not be getting the in-display fingerprint scanner and that Samsung will focus on making their facial recognition tech for 2018. However, it is believed that Samsung might still offer the in-display fingerprint sensor before 2018 ends.

It is no secret that Samsung is trying to merge the fingerprint sensor into the display since it was seen in one of the patents but we don’t know when they will be offering it. It was believed that Apple was also trying to do that with the iPhone X but choose to abandon that plan in the end.
