Talk about having the best of both worlds. Samsung has launched its new Gear S and Gear Fit apps that makes all its existing smartwatches, including both the versions of the Samsung Gear S3 as well as the Gear S2 and the Gear Fit 2, compatible with iOS.
Although this is pretty impressive seeing both these rivals working together, don’t expect to see all the integration you would typically see on an Android device. However, you will still be able to receive notifications, manage apps and track your S Health data.
Aside that, the hardware features should also be working smoothly with an iPhone. So, you can expect that GPS and environmental sensors would be playing a vital role.
But, do you think buying a Gear device is better compared to an Apple Watch?
Well, if you ask us, Samsung embodies a more conservative design for its watches as well as other features such as cellular data but it is the Apple Watch that stands to be the only major smartwatch that works seamlessly with iOS.
