Samsung Gives Note 7 Another Chance?

The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is one smartphone that will go down in history. Following its series of explosive episodes all over the world, the Seoul-based manufacturer had no other choice but to implement a global recall for the particular device as it posed a threat to the safety of users.

Although the Galaxy Note 7 was pretty far from being flawless, the device did feature some impressive, top-notch specs and features.

The Galaxy Note 7, powered by a non-removable 3,500 mAh battery, boasts features such as an enhanced camera app with a beautiful hardware along with unique S Pen features.

It wasn’t surprising that many folks were disappointment when Samsung recalled the Note 7. However, recent reports reveal that the South Korean manufacturer is bringing back the Note 7 – this time with a smaller and hopefully safer battery.

The refurbished device is reported to be called the Galaxy Note 7R and this model is said to be equipped with a 3,200mAh battery inside.

Many fans seem to be pretty accepting of this news, with many expressing their interest in purchasing a refurbished Note 7 device as they simply can’t get over how great the device was, with the exception of its exploding tendencies, of course.

However, it looks like the device will not be sold over here in the US as Samsung has clearly stated that, “The objective of introducing refurbished devices is solely to reduce and minimize any environmental impact.”

“The product details including the name, technical specification and price range will be announced when the device is available. Samsung will NOT be offering refurbished Galaxy Note 7 devices for RENT OR SALE in the US.”

Well, that said, would you consider purchasing a refurbished Galaxy Note 7 device?
