Samsung Moves Galaxy S7 Aside For Galaxy S6

By  |

A latest leak has revealed that Samsung may be launching Nougat for the European Galaxy S7 devices on January 17.

Based on what could be depicted via Google Translate, the first paragraph of the post states something along the lines of “I’ve used SM-is expected G935F model. Your device to be released as Android 7.0 update of January of 17 of Nougat.”

The image is in Spanish, but the source states that it was translated from Turkish to Spanish, thus losing some details in the process.

On top of that, the image says “Android 7.0” but Samsung had revealed that it would release Android 7.1.1. But the model number above states SM-G935F which is definitely a reference to European versions of the Galaxy S7 Edge.

If this turns out to be true, it looks like European Galaxy S7 users will be able to see Nougat in a couple of days. With Nougat for the Galaxy S7 delivered, Samsung can move the device out of the way and start focusing on sending out Nougat for the Galaxy S6 and Note 5.
