Tesla Model X Makes 707hp Hellcat Look So Old
The Tesla Model X was released back in 2015 and it quickly surpassed the Dodge Challenger Hellcat by dominating the market.
Top Gear carried out a review on the Model X by testing it out in New York City and putting it to race against the Hellcat.
The host, Rory Reid, clearly showed how spacious and luxurious is the six-seat SUV. It offers silent drive and the addition of the Falcon Wing doors are not only practical, they also add pizzazz to the vehicle.
The Model X recorded the highest crash test score and has a low center of gravity in a bid to overcome its high weight of the battery.
With instant torque, the electric all-wheel vehicle has a liquid-cooled powertrain which includes the battery and one or more motors, drive inverters and gear boxes.
When put to test against the Dodge Challenger Hellcat, with a 6.2L supercharged HEMI V8 engine that produces 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft torque, the Tesla Model X came out as the winner, adding years to the Hellcat.
