The Jeep Wrangler has always been a great machine but this latest take on the reliable off-roader has proven to be the best of the lot, thus far. The CAD4X Laboratory at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) has built an impressive all-electric Jeep Wrangler.

This model is said to be able to handle some serious off-road obstacle courses with its “dual 60 kW motor.” The all-electric Wrangler can make up to 160 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque.

The Wrangler is already amazing with its natural climbing capabilities as well as great approach angles-aided, so the addition of the electric motors’ instant torque and the large 37-inches tires fitted to these KAIST-built climber will only be serving it better. On top of that, it is also said that it would be able to keep up with the diesel-powered Jeep, no matter the terrain.
