The Predator (2018): Arnold In Talks For Sequel Return

As Ridley Scott and Neill Blomkamp begin works on two parallel Alien titles, there are reports of a fourth Predator title in the pipeline due for 2018 with Arnold Schwarzenegger gearing up to make a return.

It was reported that the former Governor of California is going to meet up with Shane Black, the director and co-writer of the upcoming film called The Predator to discuss his potential return to the popular sci-fi franchise.

If he indeed returns, he would reprise his role as Major “Dutch” Schaefer who famously coined the term “get to the chopper!” in the original film. The 68 year-old looks like he may still be able to pull off some action sequences, though we don’t think he would be suitable as the lead.

The film is in good hands with Shane Black. Boasting an impressive resume that involves screen-writing for the first two Lethal Weapon movies, The Last Boy Scout, and Last Action Hero among other classic action titles, we should see some cool high-octane stuff for what appears to be a sequel involving only one Predator.
