The all-new Range Rover Velar has just made its global debut last month and now, a SVR version has just been spotted doing its round of tests outside Jaguar Land Rover’s Nurburgring testing facility.
Despite being under camouflage, it’s obvious that the model has a new front clip, bigger air intakes as well as larger brakes. Although hidden from sight, it’s almost a guarantee that the SVR will be coming with its trademark quad-tipped active exhaust setup.
This model is slated to be coming with the same supercharged 5.0-liter V8 engine that is found in Jaguar’s F-Pace SVR and it is expected that it will be mated to a sport-tuned AWD setup that will record highway speeds below 4 seconds – if this happens, Porsche’s Macan Turbo doesn’t seem to stand a chance.
Although we can’t see how the interior of the Velar SVR looks like, expect to see it coming with embossed sports buckets, unique colorways, enhanced leather, carbon fiber detailing as well as special badging.
