Two months back, Verizon released its very own smartwatch line, Wear24. That was in February and now a new Press Release has announced that the Wear24 will be available for purchase beginning on May 11.
Folks interested in Verizon’s smartwatches can make their purchase online or via Verizon’s retail stores from that date onward.
Many have said that the Wear24 looks very similar to LG’s Watch Sport. However, if you look closely, you’ll notice that the Verizon’s smartwatches are thinner and it comes with a larger battery.
The Wear24, with AndroidWear 2.0 right out-of-the-box, will be coming in three hue choices as shown in the image above and it comes with 4G LTE from Verizon itself. The device sports a 1.39-inch AMOLED display and it is powered by Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor.
Aside that, the Wear24 smartwatches packs on 768MB of RAM with 4GB of built-in storage and it is equipped with a 450mAh battery. That said, there is no heart rate sensor, unlike many other smartwatches currently on the market.
The Wear24 will be priced at $349 but those new Verizon users who activate a two-year plan with the smartwatch will be able to nab one for a mere $299!
