We’ll finally be able to get our hands on the Xbox One Scorpio in the second half of this year and that’s definitely exciting. But it looks like the console, bearing 4K capabilities, just got a whole lot more exciting!
The director and executive producer of Bethesda, Todd Howard, opened up to Glixel that Skyrim and Fallout 4 will be making its way into the Xbox One Scorpio.
Howard started off by saying that they “just wrapped up updating Fallout 4 for the PS4 Pro” and that they’re “used to that in the PC world. We [They] can update the games, and people keep playing it”
“Microsoft’s Scorpio is coming next year, and we’ll update Fallout 4 and Skyrim for that. That’s our hope, that these consoles keep that spirit going forward,” added Howard.
Warner Bros has also given its word that Shadow of War will be arriving to the console when it arrives. Since this is a Play Anywhere title, this means players will be able to buy it for PC via the Microsoft Store and play it on the Xbox One.
Word on the street is that we just may be seeing the Xbox One Scorpio at this year’s E3; we’ll be sure to keep you updated!
