The head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, has confirmed via a blog post that Microsoft will be debuting its Project Scorpio during E3 2017. The event will take place on June 11 at The Galen Center in Los Angeles, California.

The Xbox Scorpio is definitely a game changer as this console is said to venture further away from the standard gaming console resulting in a more unified experience for players as well as developers.

“The Scorpio Engine sits at the heart of Microsoft’s latest console, with a CPU packing eight 2.3 GHz x86 cores, a GPU with 40 custom compute units at 1172 MHz, 12 GB of GDDR5 RAM, 326 GB/s of bandwidth, a 1 TB hard drive, and an optical drive compatible with 4K UHD Blu-ray,” according to TheUSBport.

Scorpio is said to be the most potent console to hit the market and it will be coming with a development platform that will make it more seamless to produce games without needing to make them hardware-specific.

Pricing has yet to be announced but some folks are expecting to see it coming with a price tag about $500. Well, are you going to be picking up a brand new Xbox Scorpio when it lands?
