With the inception of the new Pixel devices, Google has started slowing down on their updates for the Nexus 6P devices. The tech giant decided to shift its focus to the new Pixel range rather than striving to make the Nexus 6P stronger.
The Pixel devices are a revolutionary for Google, replacing its previous Nexus brand, yet it simply does not justify Google’s cold decision to abandon the Nexus 6P.
Many users did not expect Google to pull the plugs on support for the Nexus 6P that soon, so, it left many in shock. Google had kicked off the Android 7.0 Nougat update as well as the Daydream VR, but neither of these were received by the Nexus 6p, thus it was a clear indication that it was truly over.
However, fret not, as a Nexus 6P successor is already made available in the market. The ZTE Axon 7 comes featuring top notch hardwares and will soon receive the Android Nougat update. It also matches the Nexus 6P size-wise.
The best part – it is considered Daydream ready, way before Pixel was even released.
It looks like the ZTE Axon 7 is the ideal successor for the abandoned Nexus 6P; don’t you think so too?
