ZTE Blade V8 Pro Gets Its First Update!

By  |

The ZTE Blade V8 Pro was just recently released but now, it is already receiving its first official software update. The device, currently running on Android 6.0.1 with ZTE’s custom interface, will be getting even better with the latest Nougat update.

This OTA update will be killing the bug that force closes the music app after it is opened for 15 minutes and it will fix the issue with syncing the time with the default time/weather widget.

Aside that, ZTE also claims that there are a lot of other smaller performance improvements that will be coming with the update which will make the device faster.

Users will also be able to see some enhancements with both the system language and user interface as well as gaining entry into the January 2017 security patch from Google. But, it would have been better to see a March, or even February, security update, to be honest.

That said, be sure that your V8 Pro has adequate battery prior to attempting the whole update process. The update should be heading your way in no time; so, try checking your device’s settings if you haven’t seen it.
