Both the Ford F-150 Raptor and the Mercedes-Benz G-Class are two of the top beasts in the current market, despite coming from two essentially different automakers.

The Ford F-150 is equipped with off-road tires, lots of suspension travel and underbody armor plating. It comes with a 3.3-liter EcoBoost V6 engine worth 450 horsepower and 510 lb-ft of torque. Power is distributed to power all four wheels with the help of an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission.

The Mercedes-Benz G-Class, on the other hand, comes with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine worth 416 horsepower and 450 lb-ft of torque. For those looking for more power, there is the G65 versions that is equipped with a 6.0-liter V12 worth 621 horsepower and 738 lb-ft torque. All engines in the G-Class comes with a seven-speed automatic transmission as a standard.

Many would choose the G-Class due to its legacy and status, however according to a poll conducted by Auto Guide, it looks like the G-Class, priced at about $122,000, isn’t as popular as the F-150 Raptor, priced at about $50,000.

The poll revealed that 64 percent of respondents have picked the Ford F-150 Raptor over the Mercedes-Benz G-Class. Well, what will your choice be?
