The upcoming 2018 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 was recently spotted in spy shots and although it was heavily camouflaged, there’s no hiding its high-riding rear wing that is attached to its decklid.
Other spy shots show a smaller and a lower wing on the same prototype suggesting that the engineers are still testing out the ideal wing size and placement.
This large rear spoiler is reminiscent of the equally huge spoiler on the Dodge Viper ACR and it would be interesting to see the whole look when it is revealed.
It’s expected that the ZR1 would be the final addition to the C7 series and it would probably be boasting a 700 horsepower from its supercharged and intercooled LT4 small-block V8 engine.
The 2018 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is anticipated to make its debut at the 2017 Detroit Auto Show. Let’s see if the wings do make the cut!
