The 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon is probably one of the most anticipated models of the year. Well, it’s not surprising seeing that this bad boy is said to overtake even the Hellcat, in terms of power.
Based on the teaser videos, we know that the Demon will be about 200 pounds lighter compared to the Hellcat. It will also be featuring bigger wheels with upgraded suspension, beefier brakes and there is even talks of a rear-seat delete option, as well.
It’s obvious that this demonic vehicle will be able to dominate a 0-60mph and 1/4 mile; but, how will it compare against the latest Ford Mustang GT500 and the Corvette ZR1?
Mustang Revs Up
The all-new Mustang, the 2018 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500, is expected to be coming with Ford’s magnetorheological dampers, similar to the Shelby GT350 and GT350R. It will also be sporting dual-mode sports exhaust.
The Mustang could even be featuring a twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired to Ford’s latest 10-speed automatic transmission.
Chevrolet Isn’t Losing Out
Chevy’s Corvette ZR1 is said to be employing a supercharged V8 mill that can spit out up to 700 horsepower.
The upcoming Corvette ZR1 is slated to be a competitive model and since the Dodge Viper is out of the way, it looks like the ZR1 could be the next in line as the most extreme front-engine production car ever.
So, do you think the 2018 Dodge Challenger SRT Demon could stand a chance against these two?
