With the demand now shifting towards SUVs and pickup trucks, smaller vehicles like the Ford Fiesta will be the one suffering as Ford prepares to cut the loses anyway they can.

It has been announced that Ford will be removing the small three-cylinder engine from the Fiesta lineup. According to the reports, Ford will stop offering the engine in the US although they will continue to offer it globally.

That means the 2018 model will come with only one engine option and that is the 1.6 liters four-cylinder EcoBoost engine. So far, this is going to be the only major change Ford will be making on the Ford Fiesta.

While we do understand where Ford is coming from, a lot of people think that Ford might be making a mistake by removing the engine. What do you think? Do you think Ford should have kept it?
