The Defender is one formidable opponent but with all the changes that Jeep gave their all-new Jeep Wrangler, do you think it has what it takes to take on the Defender now?
Jeep was at the Los Angeles Auto Show where they showed off the new Jeep Wrangler JL. The Wrangler will come in with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that will be mated to a six-speed manual transmission or a five-speed automatic transmission. The engine will be offering about 285hp and 260lb ft of torque.
The 2018 Jeep Wrangler will come with four trim options, the Sport, Sport S, Sahara and Rubicon. With all the exterior and interior upgrades that the vehicle got, the price is also slightly higher now with the base model retailing for $26,995 while the top of the range model with 4 doors will retail for $40,495.
Jeep is also working on a few pickups based on the new Wrangler so fans have that to look forward to.
