Fans of Mercedes may not fancy the idea of the company entering the pickup truck segment but all that will change with the possibility of an AMG version.
Although it is yet to be made official, the image shows one of X-Tomi’s newest renderings. This is based on a vehicle that is merely a concept so expect to see changes when the X-Class is released in late 2017.
From what we can see, these renderings include production-ready mirrors, AMG-styled muscular front bumper, black roof and truck bed cover as well as AMG wheels.
The vehicle is expected to be be running on an AMG-fettled biturbo V8. It could be either the 557 PS 5.5-liter of the GLE 63 or the 476 PS 4.0-liter C 63.
Either way, the 2018 Mercedes X-Class will definitely be a really fast pickup truck.
