BMW will be giving the BMW 740e a mild refresh this year and one of the things that they will be working on is the performance of the vehicle.

According to BMW Blog, the BWM740e model will be getting an upgrade that will allow the vehicle to deliver about 390hp instead of the 322hp that it is offering right now. The current model is powered by a 2.0 liter four cylinder engine that will be paired with an electric motor.

Other upgrades that we can expect to see include the new wireless charging feature that was announced last year. According to the announcement, the system would allow the 530e model to fully recharge its 9.2kWh battery in 3.5 hours.

The 7 Series models will also get the Live Cockpit upgrade which will see them getting fitted with a digital gauge cluster similar to those seen in the Z4 concept and 8 Series concept. A few changes will be made on the outside as well like giving it new headlights, taillights and more.
