After all the speculations, we finally got some additional information about the BMW M2 Competition thanks to the new set of leaked images online.

As expected, the BMW M2 Competition will be coming in with an upgraded design that is more aggressive than the standard model. The obvious upgrade would be the blacked out kidney grille in the front.

Earlier rumors suggest that the BMW M2 Competition could be coming with a seven-speed M-DCT dual clutch box and a six-speed manual transmission but right now, we are only hearing about the M-DCT which could mean that the manual transmission might not happen after all.

The M2 Competition will come powered by a 3.0 liter straight six engine that will be offering about 410hp when it arrives. The production is set to start in July with deliveries starting later this year.

More details will be revealed when we get closer to the delivery date.
