The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado LT and RST model will be coming in with a new engine this time around that will not only allow the vehicle to offer more torque but also be more fuel efficient.

Instead of the 4.3-liter V6 engine, the LT and RST model will now come with the 2.7-liter turbo petrol engine that will be offering about 310hp. According to Chevrolet, the engine will offer 22% more torque and will also allow the Silverado to have better fuel economy although no numbers were released.

Besides getting a new engine, the 5.3 liters and the 6.2-liter V8 engine will also be upgraded.

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado will be coming in with a bigger body but it is also lighter and more responsive so that should improve the overall driving experience of the vehicle. Production for the crew-cab V8 will be starting in the third quarter of 2018 while the double cab models production will start in Q4.
