We have already seen what the Hyundai i30 N has to offer right now. The vehicle was released in Australia with a six-speed manual transmission. While we won’t be getting the i30N here, we will be the Veloster N which will also come with the same transmission later this year but if you hold on for a little longer, you might be able to get the vehicle with the eight-speed dual clutch transmission.

According to Hyundai, they are working on offering the eight-speed dual-clutch transmission on their i30N model but added that it will not be arriving until late 2019. Once the dual-clutch transmission arrives for the i30N, the Veloster N dual clutch transmission should follow soon after.

Hyundai also added that the transmission will not be a rework of the seven-speed EcoShift duel-clutch but it will be an all-new unit. It was also added that the transmission will eventually make its way to all the other Hyundai and Kia models.
