The 2019 Ram 1500 will be coming in as an all-new model with new features and tech but that also means a new price list for the upcoming truck.

According to the Ram, the new 2019 Ram 1500 base model will be coming in with a $33,340 price tag which means that Ram is asking for about $5k more than the previous base model.

The base model will be fitted with a 3.6 liter Pentastar V6 engine with the eTorque mild hybrid system. The V6 will still be offered but those looking to get the V6 will have to wait a little longer. Customers can choose to get the 5.7 liter Hemi V8 engine with the eight-speed auto transmission as well.

With all the upgrades the Ram 1500 will be getting, do you think the price hike is justified? Since rivals like Chevrolet have not announced the pricing yet, some people are speculating that those trucks might also come with a similar price tag.

Please note the price comparison made here is a 2018 2 door vs. 2019 4 door. Not apples to apples. The 2019 Ram 1500 does not offer a 2 door configuration. The actual difference is $800.
