Not everybody was happy with BMW’s decision to fit their Concept 4 with the massive kidney grille that felt too loud and obnoxious. At that time, some people predicted that BMW did just for the shock factor and that the vehicle will eventually be getting a more subtle grille but that is clearly not what BMW has in mind.

New spy shots of the BMW M3 and BMW M4 suggest that the massive grille will be carried over from the concept. The imaged showed parts of the vehicle and while the body and rear were still hidden, the grille is clearly not.

Of course, there is a chance that this image is fake but it does look very promising which is why it is so worrying. Previous spy shots also seem to suggest that BMW was hiding that huge grille under the covers.

While the design might not be too exciting, the engine is as it was reported that the M3 and M4 could be powered by the same engine as the X3 M and X4 M which is the 3.0-liter TwiPower Turbo six-cylinder engine.
