BMW has been revealing bits and pieces of the upcoming BMW M3 but there is still a lot that we do not know now. It was previously speculated that the BWM M3 AWD will come with a manual transmission but it looks like there is more.
According to BMW M chief Marus Falsch, the BMW M3 RWD model will come with a manual transmission while the AWD model will get the automatic gearbox. Besides offering two drive systems and two transmission options, they will also have a few powertrain options to offer so most people would most likely find something they need with the M3.
The automatic transmission that the 2021 BMW M3 is said to be coupled with the M-tuned xDrive system. As exciting as this is for the M3 fans, he also confirmed that the M5 will not be getting a manual transmission. Well, you can never please everybody.
