The acceleration times were something that the fans have been dying to learn about and now, Chevrolet has the answers ready for them.
According to Chevrolet, the Chevrolet Corvette C8 will be able to go from 0-60mph in 3.0 seconds. The Corvette with the Z51 package would be offering 5hp and 5lb ft of torque more allowing it to hit the 60mph mark in 2.9 seconds, 0.1 seconds faster than the standard model.
Chevrolet also announce the quarter-mile time for the Corvette C8 announcing that the Z51 version will be able to fit a quarter-mile in 11.2 seconds.
Chevrolet has also announced that they will be pushing back the production of the C8 to February of next year. They did not offer an exact date but explain that the UAW strike was the major reason behind the delay. With that, the first deliveries would only be starting at the end of 2020 or early 2021.
