The Honda Freed which is offered in a few Asian markets including Japan will be getting some update for 2020. Here is what we know right now.
The 2020 Honda Freed will come in to ride on the Honda Fit platform. One of the major updates that Honda will be offering is the addition of the Crosstar mode, a crossover-style option with design changes that can be found in the front grille, bumpers with skid plates, roof rails, alloy wheels, LED fog lights, mirror caps and more.
Of course, the Crosstar edition is not the only one that gets to enjoy the exterior upgrade as the standard Freed model will also be getting a new grille, updated bonnet, and a new front bumper. More changes can be found on the inside.
The Honda Sensing Suite will be offered as standard now and this time, it will come with an updated adaptive cruise control feature. Powering it will be a 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine that will be offering 127hp and a 1.5 liter Atkinson cycle hybrid engine. More details will be revealed at the Tokyo Motor Show happening soon.
