2020 Seat el-Born Will Not Be An Identical Twin

 -

The Seat el-Born will be Seat’s version of the Volkswagen ID.3 compact EV hatch and while both models will be sharing a lot, the vehicle will not look identical to one another.

As seen on the el-Born Concept, the Seat version will come with its own headlight and taillight design along with some updated bumper, floating roof design and different looking alloy wheels so most people won’t mistake it for a Volkswagen model.

Compared to the ID.3, the el-Born looks more aggressive on the outside. As for the interior, it is believed that we will see the same design get carried over from the concept sen earlier this year.

The el-Born will be riding on the same MEB modular electric platform and will come powered by a 64kWh battery pack that will have about 261miles to offer. It will also support up to 100kW DC supercharging which means it can charge up to 80% in 47minutes. The engine will also be offering 201hp and 229lb ft of torque and will be mated to a single-speed transmission.
