The first official sketch for the 2021 Kia Optima is nowhere. For some of you, that would be the new K5 midsize sedan.

Based on what we can see, the 2021 model will be coming in with a completely new design inside and out. Kia also added that they want the Optima to evolve from a sedan to become a fastback model.

We can see that the vehicle will be getting a sloping roofline now along with a new face. The vehicle will be given a new set of headlights which is extremely aggressive along with a recessed radiator grille.

In the back, the vehicle will be fitted with LED taillights and will be connected with an illuminated strip. Sketches on the interior showed a dashboard that will have a fully digital instrument panel with a widescreen center display.

The Kia K5 will be making its official debut in December in Korea before makings its way to the US next year.
