A lot of people were a little dissapointed when Ford announced that the Corsair did not have a hybrid option like the Ford Escape but that is no longer a problem now as It was announced that the 2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring will be coming with a plug-in hybrid offering.

Powering it will be the 2.5 liters inline 4 naturally aspirated engine that will be paired with an electric motor. There will also be another electric motor in the back that will be mated to the single-speed transmission. bringing the total power to 266hp.

Powering the electric motors will be the 14.4kWh battery pack that will allow the vehicle to travel about 26miles on electric alone. The hybrid model will also be getting a unique grille, 20inch wheels, blue badging and more.

No price has been announced yet but the 2021 Lincoln Corsair Grand Touring hybrid model is expected to arrive in the Summer next year.
