While it is nice to have a vehicle that comes with an all-wheel-drive system, the fact is that not everybody actually needs all that traction. With that in mind, Alfa Romeo will now be offering the Alfa Romeo Stelvio with a rear-wheel drive system and this vehicle will come with a smaller price tag too.

The new rear-wheel drive model will be offered as the new base version. That will not only reduce the weight of the vehicle but also the price tag as the vehicle will now cost $2000 less than the all-wheel-drive model.

Alfa Romeo also added that customers can choose to add on the Sport package which will come with 19inch wheels, colored brake calipers, aluminum pedals and more. This package will cost $1800 more.

More details like the fuel economy will be announced later although the order books for the vehicle is now open.
