While it is nice to see people slowly getting used to having wireless headphones, there is one downside of the change that seems to have eluded many. The fact that people can no longer use their own headphones in-flight now.
Well, that is actually possible with the Apple AirPods but you will need a dongle to make that happen. All you need is a 3.5mm audio-out so that you can connect the seatback to the Lightning port or USB-Cport on your iPhone and then use an app to send the audio to your headphones but of course, that sounds like too much work.
The other option will be to use a Bluetooth adapter. For this, you will need to charge up your adapter first then with it off, you need to long-press the main button to put it into pairing mode and hold your headphones on the right to pair it. Plug in the adapter and out in the headphones to check if it is working. If not, repeat the steps and try again.
