When Audi announce that they will be offering an Audi E-Tron Sportback model, most people assume that it would just be the standard E-Tron with a chopped-roof but the one we saw at the LA Auto Show was far from that.

Takes to the shape of the Sportback model, the vehicle is able to offer a little more range now as there is less drag but EPA has now come out with the official range of the vehicle yet.

The Sportback model will also get a little more power at it was given access to 86.5kWh of the 95kWh battery pack while the E-Tron model only gets 83.6kWh from the same battery.

Of course, with the new roof design, the E-Tron Sportback will now have less headroom on the inside and less cargo storage although the numbers are not out yet.

The Audi E-Tron Sportback is expected to arrive in Europe in the Spring next year.
