BMW issue two recalls to bring back about 1 million vehicles in North America and they might not end there either.

The first recall will affect 670,000 units of BMW 3 Series. According to the report, the BMW 3 Series heating and air conditioning system might have some wiring issue that might cause the vehicle to overheat leading to a fire. BMW 3-Series build from 2006 to 2011 will be affected by the recall.

The second recall will affect models like the 128i vehicles, BMW 3 Series, 5 Series, X3, X5 as well as Z4. A total of 740,000 vehicles will be affected by the recall. It is believed that the valve heater might be rusting on some model and that might lead to a fire.

According to BMW, although the recall would only affect North American models like now, it might widen into other countries.
