With the 2018 Lincoln Navigator now available, Cadillac is definitely feeling the heat and they were hoping that their new offer will help keep the Lincoln Navigator at bay.

According to reports, GM will be offering a $5000 discount to those that trade in their 1999 or newer Lincoln model for the Cadillac Escalade. It seems like GM feels like the price of the Escalade is the biggest issue here. Jin Cain from GM explains that the incentive was offered to keep the prices competitive for the Escalade.

The Escalade is selling for an average of $80,000 right now while the Lincoln Navigator is selling for an average of $53,000 giving Lincoln a huge advantage over their rivals. Despite the fact that the Escalade was voted as the top-selling domestic luxury SUV last month, they are still going to take the Navigator seriously.

With what both models have to offer. Which one would you pick if you had to choose between the two?
