GM will be offering most of their vehicles with the Amazon Alexa AI assistant next year. Not only will the new cars be getting it but the older models including those 2018 and newer models will also be getting Alexa with an update from GM.

To make full use of the Amazon Alexa, users will actually need to have an active service plan, working electrical system, cell reception, and GPS signal.

On top of that, it was also revealed that Amazon will be getting a few celebrities to lend their voices to Alexa with Samuel L. Jackson being of the first few announced. There will also be a clean version for those looking for a more family-friendly dialogue and an explicit version and the voices will be $0.99 a year.
