With crossovers and SUVs continues to be the models to go for right now, things are not looking too good for the sedans and hatchbacks. It was reported that Chevrolet might be looking to remove some models from their line up including the Chevrolet Sonic and Chevrolet Impala.

According to the report, the vehicle could be phase out later this year while the Impala will join it a few years later. The Chevrolet Sonic is currently the most affordable model in their line up and is mainly used to target the younger drivers.

Despite that, the sales have been dropping this few years and it does not look like it will be getting better anytime soon.

Chevrolet is not the only automakers that are looking to remove their sedans and hatchback from their lineup as Ford has also hinted that we might see the Ford Fiesta leave soon.
