With the release of the Citroen C4 Cactus, some people thought that we would not be seeing a replacement for the C4 hatchback anymore and that Citroen has forgotten about it but that is clearly not the case here.

According to Linda Jackson, the CEO of Citroen, the new-gen Citroen C4 will definitely happen. She did not elaborate on what the vehicle will be offering but based on the past model, it is safe to assume that the new C4 will continue to share its platform and mechanical parts with the Peugeot 307 and 308.

The Citroen C4 will be coming in to compete with models like the Volkswagen Golf, Ford Focus, Opel Astra and more.

Citroen is also thinking about releasing another C5 model. The model plays an important role in China now but Citroen also plans to offer it in other markets as well.
