Dead Island 2 was revealed back in 2014 and since then, fans have been waiting for the developer to release the game but so far, it does not feel like we are getting any closer.

Last year, it was confirmed that the game is still in development which is nice. It was revealed now that the developer is looking to get it right and that the last waiting time is just time trying to make the game perfect which is great for the fans but only if the game does end up being released.

The game has been passed from studio to studio and the fact that it is still not dead is already pretty amazing. For now, there is still no release date for the game or any other details like what platform it will be released on but at least we know that it is still alive and kicking and for now, that is good enough.
