It looks like Nintendo was not kidding when they said that they will be doing their best to make sure the Nintendo Switch will do better in terms of third party games compared to the Wii U.

It has just been announced that Firewatch will also be ported to the Nintendo Switch console. No date was announced although Campo Santo did say that we can expect to see the game this spring.

According to the developer, the game will be more responsive and will lead faster when it arrives on the Nintendo Switch. They also added that the game will be stripped “down to the studs” to make it more suitable for the Switch. We do not know if that would affect the overall experience but hopefully, it will now.

The developers also added that fans can expect to find a few surprises when the game arrives on the Switch.
