Ever since the 2020 Ford Explorer was released, it has been plagued by one recall after another and it looks like that has taken a toll on the model as it was reported that the third-quarter sales for the Ford Explorer dropped 48% compared to the previous model last year.
It is not that the consumers are not interested in the truck but dealers have actually been having a hard time trying to secure enough units on lots for their customers as Ford recalls more Explorers back for reports.
However, Ford is confident that things will turn around for the better soon as they added that they have enough inventory in their stores and that availability will not be an issue anymore but with other issues like the worker strife at their Chicago plant, some people are still not convince that Ford will be able to pick things up.
