GM Thinks Sedan Future Just Got A Little Brighter

 -

With the consumers putting so much attention on the SUVs, crossovers, and trucks, it did felt like it was the end for a sedan but GM seems to think that the sedan could still make a comeback.

According to Michael Simcoe, the design chief for General Motors, the sedans could be making a comeback down the road. While he acknowledges that SUVs are the kind now but he thinks that people will always want to have something that other people do not have and with so many SUVs, crossover and truck out there, we might see people shift back to models like the sedans that would stand out more.

Of course, we don’t see that happening now as the demand for SUVs is still at an all-time high but we might see the switch happen in a few years especially with EV models now getting more and more attention.

What do you think? Will we see the sedan make a comeback?
